TRAUMA TRIGGER

A trauma trigger is basically an involuntary rewind button to a crisis you survived. A passing siren, a certain smell, or a slamming door hits, and BOOM….your present moment is completely hijacked by old fear. Your body instantly plunges back into survival mode. It doesn’t mean you’re broken… it’s just your nervous system reacting to old ghosts that you may not even realize what they are. It never fully goes away, but you can learn to disarm those tripwires.
